The church renovation started in earnest following the 12:30 PM Confirmation Mass on Sunday, May 9, 2015. On the following day, all of the church statues and appointments were removed and a few days later, the pews. The floor reconstruction then began with the cutting of the main church floor and the digging of the trenches for the new steel-reinforced concrete supports.
